This program provides work activity for people with physical or multiple disabilities. It serves those who require workplace accommodations that are not easily provided in the community-based jobs.

The Corbrook Work Program is a light packaging and assembly service geared to individual needs. It is provided in-house at our Corbrook facilities. The duration is determined by annual reviews.

Components of the program may include Life Skills, Employment Awareness, and Adult Basic Literacy (a Toronto Board of Education program). To be eligible, participants must:

  • Have a disability
  • Complete an 8-week on-site assessment before entering the program
  • Have a support person (such as an advocate or family member) present at the final Assessment Conference
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 55 years
  • Be medically stable as determined by a physician
